It’s Raining

Your Daily Haiku

Drops of falling rain,
Desperately seeking my
Waiting, outstretched tongue.

Funny.

Funny it may be,
But not as much as if I
Really were outside.

Oh, so where you are
The crystalline drops do not
Fall upon your head?

My pate is unwet.
Indeed, unsullied from dew
By the roof above.

Ah, but the droplets
Fall in torrents from the sky
And hiss as they land?
